Walton Records 1,000 Assists
Senior volleyball player Zach Walton reached a milestone during Friday's match against Concord that only two others in program history had ever attained. With a helper for Middle Hitter Isaiah Armor's 5th kill of the match, Walton registered the 1,000th assist of his career. An honorable mention all-state performer last season, he joins the two best setters in Dickinson history, Luis Valentin (class of 2013) and Ben Carpenter (2001).
Walton finished the match with 31 assists. More importantly, the 3-1 victory over the Raiders boosted the Rams' chances of qualifying for the state tournament.
